This sculpture is inspired by the diverse wildlife of Sir Bani Yas Island, merging the elegance of the gazelle, the striking horns of the oryx, and the distinctive markings of the cheetah. The cheetah’s spots are creatively transformed into negative space, adding depth and movement to the design. To bring this vision to life, I crafted 14 individual layers—each featuring the same drawing with varied cutouts—and experimented with their arrangement. The final composition captures the island’s natural beauty and the harmonious coexistence of its unique species.
