This artwork explores the experience of insomnia and its profound effects on the human mind and body. Often caused by overthinking and stress, it becomes an overwhelming cycle—something I personally struggled with, especially during my last two years at university. The surrounding noise in the artwork symbolizes how insomnia slowly takes over, keeping the eyes wide open and depriving a person of one of the most essential aspects of human life—sleep.
